VET School for mechanical engineering with practical training - focus on training in Tool and Fixture Engineering (4 years with final examination)

The aim here is to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the areas of construction and production as well as cooperation with relevant companies in the form of project work. The focus is on the production of work pieces, assembling, maintenance and supervision of production-technical systems, pneumatics and hydraulic systems as well as the usage of the latest hard- and software of CAD/CAM-technology.

Job opportunity: graduates gain a broad knowledge of all core areas of mechanical engineering and have the opportunity to find interesting and highly remunerative jobs in development, planning, construction, production, purchasing and disposal, installation and/or quality assurance as well as in the areas of production planning, computer-aided production (CAM, CNC), polymer and metal processing, assembly automation, fixture construction, mould and tool construction (injection moulds, pressure casting tools, punching tools and moulding dies construction).
