The College for Object Design broadens the students' (graduates of a higher school: AHS, BHS, BORG, HLW, HTL) knowledge in the areas of design, technology and marketing as well as their creative skills, technical basics and basics in model making, materials science and economics. This 4-semester education finishes for the graduates of a higher school with a diploma examination in the area of object design.
In the advanced course (for VET school students with a 3- resp. 4-year relevant qualification) for object design, also knowledge in the areas of design, technology and marketing as well as creative skills, technical basics and basics in model making, materials science and economics is imparted. Furthermore, students are educated in the general educational subjects German, Mathematics and English, enabling them to do the school leaving and diploma examination in the area of object design at the end of their courses.
Job opportunity:
Industrial Design and Object Design cover the technical-functional section. Due to the high number of projects related to practice, pupils are enrolled in the areas of graphics and layout, conception, visual design of projects, digital animation, film editing, photography, object design, spatial concept development etc. The cooperation with our international partner universities enables students to do a shortened Master Degree Program abroad.
