Higher technical school for mechanical engineering - production engineering (5 years with school leaving and diploma examination)

Among other things, the understanding of different production techniques or the processing of various materials belong to the basic education at our Higher Technical School. Companies from private industry always endeavour to recruit highly qualified and technically well-trained graduates from our school.

In the first years, the focus is on workshop lessons and the subject Production Engineering which involves the cutting and non-cutting processing of various materials. Thus we can guarantee you and your children that graduates from the branch Production Engineering will successfully find employment in any production company.

PRODUCTION ENGINEERING OF PRACTICAL RELEVANCE – a strong orientation towards technical progress and the demands of the private industry – practical application and consolidation of theoretical knowledge acquired in the subjects Mechanics, Machine Elements, Construction and Project Management, Tool and Fixture Construction in our laboratories and workshops and special training in the competences of filing, drilling, turning, grinding, cutting, welding, eroding, forging as well as all CNC-applications.

The focus of this education is on the production and adaptation of a workpiece from the unprocessed state to the finished product by means of modern techniques, as well as on working with industry-related technologies, processes as well as robots. These are competencies which are all applied in the diploma thesis.

Job opportunity: graduates have a broad knowledge of all core areas of mechanical engineering and therefore find interesting and highly remunerative jobs in development, planning, construction, production, purchasing and disposal, installation and/or quality assurance as well as in the areas of production planning, computer-aided production (CAM, CNC), polymer and metal processing, assembly automation, fixture construction, mould and tool construction (injection moulds, pressure casting tools, punching tools and moulding dies construction).
